A few necessary details...

Common Bird's-foot Trefoil

Things that might reassure you...

  • As far as I know, and according to the company hosting this website, the name I have chosen (Wild Petals and Sepals) is original to me

  • Photos and videos displayed within the various pages are all taken / created by me, unless otherwise stated. I will always cite sources used

  • I quadruple check every wildflower I identify before naming it on these pages (via apps, field guides and the internet). But I am not an expert and may make the occasional error, especially when differences between species are subtle. I will correct any mistakes as soon as I learn of them

  • I do not forage for food (largely, because I'm worried about accidentally poisoning myself) and am primarily focussed on learning the names and properties of the wildflowers I discover

  • I do not uproot wildflowers or remove anything from sites I visit, and am respectful of countryside laws to my knowledge

  • If you follow my website through the Wix subscription app, please note that I have no control over this, but will receive a copy of your user name and email address. This is received and stored securely in the Wix online creator dashboard that I use to develop my website. I will not share your email details with anyone and they will only be visible for the time that you are subscribed. Wix's privacy policy can be accessed here

*Disclaimer

Please note that the information I write about within this website is drawn from my own research and experiences of wildflower walking. It is provided accurately to the best of my knowledge and assumes that any person reading it will make the necessary precautions to ensure that it is used safely and appropriately.

For the majority of you, these pages will be a passing distraction or light entertainment, but some of you may actually want to go out and explore the beautiful world of wildflowers. But know this (in case you didn't): there are wildflowers (and other stuff) out there that can seriously irritate your skin, poison you and even prove deadly. Plus others that are typically classed as 'safe' but which might not actually be safe for you - or have been contaminated with something unsafe. So be mindful, be careful and know what you are doing. I am not responsible for any adverse reactions, damage, loss or subsequent health concerns arising from your interpretation of the site content.

It is also important to note that this website should not be used as a diagnostic tool nor for medical advice; the reader should seek support from the relevant services and professionals if such information is required.

And finally, any citation of websites, products, books, media clips, YouTube channels, DVDs etc is intended only for informational purposes and to signpost people interested in finding out more. Citations are not given for promotional purposes and sources may be subject to change or availability following the date in which I mention them. â€‹â€‹
